The story is set in the magical city of Nocturne, a city where alchemy has been lost. The protagonist of this story is the eldest son of the Grayburn family, one of the five great families of magic. As the heir to a prestigious family, “Louis Grayburn” enrolls at Nocturne First Royal Imperial Magic Academy to study magic.
The “Magical Power Appraisal Ceremony” takes place at Nocturne First Royal Imperial Magic Academy’s entrance ceremony. There, students will perform their first spell… “Fast Magic” and demonstrate their attributes.
Because of his prestigious family background, Louis casts the spell while the other students and teachers look on in anticipation. …But the spell doesn’t work!
