Ayana Tomori is a daughter in the landlord family of a certain village. She has incomparable
wit and beauty, and is designated to be a shrine maiden of the Tomori Shrine.
However, she currently bears a wish to escape from the reality, knowing that
the secret custom of the village binds her with an obligation to devote herself
to the villages’ god and men in the village when she reaches a certain age.
As the destined day draws near to her, her mind becomes worn out.
One day, she falls asleep in her school uniform and is soon wakened
by the sound of thunderbolt, notwithstanding it is not raining outside.
